Thee are several types of hauntings that we will discus here. They are Intelligent, Residual, Poltergeist, and Demonic. We will cover each one at a time so that you can learn to identify quickly the type of haunting your investigation will be taking on. So lets start with Intelligent.

Intelligent haunting:
 As the name implies this type of haunting is done by an intelligent and usually self aware spirit. This is the type of haunting that most people believe that they have. When in fact these type are really not that common. This type of ghost can be described as the personality and spirit of a once living person. If  they were a grumpy cranky person in life then they will more likely be the same as a ghost. If on the other hand they were a sweet old lady then again more than like so will be their ghost. They remain in this world rather than crossing over for any number of reasons such. Ranging from not wanting to leave a loved one to having been murdered and wanting some kind of justice. Others may think there I a task that they did not complete in life and they believe they are the only one  able to complete it, Or they may just not want to leave their children. These spirits are considered intelligent because the can and will interact with people and investigators. They may manifest them selves, Move object, Communicate and respond threw EVPS.

Residual Hauntings:
 Residual hauntings are aften mistaken for a intelligent haunting. We must not make this kind of mistake. A residual haunting
is best descrided as a a tape that suck in a loop and continues to replay its self over again usually at the same time. These are not necisarily ghost but images that do not interact with people.How These images are created no one knows their are several theoriesout there.
Just know the diference between them so you know what you are dealing with.
